I thought I was strong,
And that I wasn’t wrong.
I thought I had it all,
But all I did was fall.

I felt so very sure,
I needed no cure.
I felt I had won,
But inside I was torn.

I hate that I still miss you,
And that I still love you.
But what can I say?
You didn’t stay.
