Random yet worthy thoughts

We live in a world where people tend to be so caught up with the 'latest' or 'trendiest' or 'hippest' events or happenings or even material possessions. It's not to say that I'm totally ignorant or take no complete interest in such matters, is just that I'm not easily impressed.So what if Malaysia has finally sent their first astronaut out into space, or if Britney Spear won or loss full custody of her children, or whether the Bohemian style is in fashion again...Everything else doesn't really matter, when we still have so much suffering, injustice, and poverty in the world. I'm not implementing that we can eradicate it all overnight, it would take an extremely long period to make it possible; hence it requires our constant attention - it's just sad that we're all paying a little too much attention on things that are less important, and on matters that should deserve less of our attention. And I hope, you're not easily impressed as well.

Studying too much does make my mind wonder and ponder even more than usual.... but it's a good subject to think about :)
