They teach us patience,
A lot of tolerance,
Especially the brats of your relations.

They teach us humility,
Moderation in vanity,
While giving you insanity.

Children,
They teach us respect,
Just when they attack,
You're not allowed to strike back.

Children,
They teach us discipline,
To do and not be seen,
To be cute and hopefully clean.

Children,
They teach us to be strong,
When they come along,
There's not right or wrong.

Children,
They teach us love,
From heaven above,
Even if they always get on your nerves.

Tormenting throat

My throat is still sore :(

It has been for the past week, and it doesn't seem to be getting better.

I've tried my best to abstain from fried and spicy food whenever possible, and I've been drinking litres of water everyday.

The intensity of the soreness decreases occasionally, but it does not disappear for good.

It worsened after I sang as back-up in church today.

My voice is beginning to sound a little coarse, and it hurts excruciatingly when I have to converse for a relatively long time.

It's quite bothersome to me because, a day without talking would be a tragic one for me *tee hee.

Well at least its a good reason for me to overindulge myself with tubs of ice-cream :P
