The bass player, a christmas tree and I

The bass player took me for a movie marathon on Saturday and Sunday at Cineleisure, Mutiara Damansara. It was my first time there, even though I live less than 15 minutes away *hee
We watched Bee Movie and Hitman on Sat, and Stardust on Sunday. Bee movie and Stardust was really entertaining and funny, while Hitman was quite a disappointment. However I do have to give a little credit to the movie Hitman, because the action part was pretty good.

We had lunch at Marche before the Bee Movie, and it was my first time dinning there too. Two thumbs up for Marche! The food was delicious, but its a tad pricey.

We had Big Apple donuts on Saturday and Sunday too! *hee. We tried Durian, Chocoholic, Snowy, Say Cheese, Californian Almonds and Bananarama. All were equally delicious! We had them during the movies as snacks - my big bag came in handy *hee.

We ate a lot the whole day. Kenny Rogers for dinner, and the bass player bought me a box of strawberries from the flea market too :)

I had a really good time. A thousand apologies to the bass player for giving him a rather hard time with my emo-ness lately, so sorry. Please don't spank my butt ok? :) And thank you for always making time to take me out and spoil me rotten *hee

I'm going to be extremely busy with my thesis - the lecturer doubled our workload, hence I'll be seeing less of the bass player :(
Not to mention Christmas is just a month away, need to shop for prezzies soon - but I need to start saving first :P

Eye-feasting on donuts!

I chauffeured Spunkz and KS to Tesco, Cheras in the afternoon since I'd a few hours to spare before I could resume with my lab work. Spunkz and KS needed more chicken for nugget making, while KT and Ah Ping tagged along because they wanted Big Apple donuts. I never knew they had a branch there till today. Yeah, I can be outdated at times *hee. Buying chicken was the main objective, but the first place KT and Ah Ping headed to was for the donuts! =_= haha

Ah Ping just stood there staring at the trays of donuts for quite awhile haha. It was a really funny sight. I guess he's been donut deprived for a pretty long time :PI too stood there; busily snapping away with my camera *hee

They bought half a dozen of donuts back to Uni. I had none, even though I've not tasted Big Apple's donuts before. I used my just recovered throat as an excused, but the real reason was because I wanted to share my first bite of Big Apple's donuts with the bass player :) Yes, he hasn't had the chance of tasting them too.

Not to worry, our chance of savouring those yummy donuts will come soon. For now, I'll just feast with my eyes. Oh yes, you're welcome to do so too *hee

Another sick-filled post

This is going to be another rant post on me illness.
The sore throat is not even halfway through its recovery process, and I've caught a cold!! *Hachew!
My nose is so block that I've to use my mouth to breath, and its beginning to leak uncontrollably!
Now not only do I need a new throat, but also a brand new nose! No wonder the bass player said I'm high maintenance *hee
I know most of you are probably way bored of my constant sickly rants, however you must know it ain't going to end unless this series of unfortunate events stop for good.
My current situation is certainly unpleasant, hence ranting does help ease the 'tension'.
Yet I dare promise you that there'll be pleasant fun-filled posts coming up real soon :)

My throat has been itching non-stop!!
Its so irritating that its making me cough! Not to mention, the coughing aggravates the pain and itchiness. Plus my head hurts from all the coughing :(
Why can't it just be inflamed and not itch?! I don't need a combo *sniffs
Its so difficult to fall asleep with the itching and coughing.
I wish I'd a rod that I could stick down my throat and I'll start scratching furiously!
I can't stand it anymore! Anyone want to trade in their good throat for a crappy one like mine? *hee

A seriously random post

I want to blog!! Suddenly felt like blogging, but there's a minor problem; I've nothing to blog about!!! I haven't been anywhere other than Uni, and I'm definitely not going to blog about my thesis; it'll be a 100% rant post. Would like to spice up my blog with photos, but I've not taken any pictures lately.

I'm sure by now, most shopping malls have their Christmas decorations up. I'll most likely drag the bass player with me to take pics of the nice decors :P It's still so hard to believe that its already the mid of Nov. I'm still unable to digest the fact that 2007 is coming to an end. I should be saving this kind of post for Dec, but I'm blogging whatever that comes to mind at this very moment - hence bear with me *hee. I've only bought one Christmas present!! If you think its still early, you've no idea how wrong you are. Dislike last minute shopping, prefer to get 'em all done by the 2nd week of Dec. At least I would have time to wrap 'em all up prettily :) and to avoid the enormous crowd of last minute shoppers too.

Err, Happy early Christmas! hahaha

P.S. Will resume with a better written post when I've something better to blog about haha

Today seemed like a pretty good day till I started feeling a little sick.
Mum cooked curry for dinner, and if I'd a choice; curry wouldn't be something I would have opted for dinner.
I ate the curry reluctantly and felt sick immediately.
Told my mum and she got slightly offended. Sorry!
Been drinking lots of water, but I don't feel any better.

Have been having chest pains again, I just hope their the usual heartburn that a person would get.

On the other hand, some mean reader/s has/have been leaving crude comments on mine and my friend's blog. Usually I'll just ignore it and not give a second thought about it, however I think its getting really out of hand; the comments are getting harsher and rather personal, and we don't appreciate 'em; especially when their not constructive criticisms and edifying to the soul.

Therefore stop commenting if you've nothing good to say; your sarcastic and unnecessary comments are truly not appreciated.

I'm not feeling well, hence don't test my patience and be nice!

Being happy

Wow, it's Saturday again!
How quickly time flies, and how unimaginably little I've achieved or done in this week.
I've been pretty laid back lately. Oh no, I ain't complaining - It's just a statement, and I'm rather surprised with my self cause I'm actually comfortable with it.
If you've met me during my first 2 years in Uni, I was always hurrying myself or others to complete assignments and reports, and I would easily get stressed up by even the least important test, quiz or task.
Though to many being who I was 2 years back would probably be a better trade to keep, since we're leaving in a fast pace world; where you've to be constantly and extremely hardworking, just so that you could out do another. However I prefer the 'me' now; even though I don't perform as well as I used to, but I'm so much happier spending my time with people that I love, and doing things that I take delight in.

Maybe many would disagree with me, but I'm tired of being overly competitive and trying to do everything perfectly. Life's too short to be spend trying to always out do another, just do your best and I believe you'll be a much happier person :) We were all made to achieve greatness, but do remember greatness comes in many forms :)

Cure me!

My current condition is slowly pulling me into a state of depression. I'm easily agitated, and I get emotional over the pettiest matter. I feel extremely tired, even after a peaceful 8-hours sleep. I need an antidote, I'm desperately yearning for a full recovery!

I dislike lab work

Wasted another day in the lab again! Hehe..just exaggerating. It was actually quite productive and my experiment was sort of successful. The downside of it is that I've to return to the lab tmr AGAIN, because of the electricity cut that occurred in Uni today. The electricity cut slowed us down, hence I've to complete what I couldn't finish today in the lab tmr. Bummer!

On the contrary, I almost forgot about Trix's b'day! It's tmr! I'm such a lousy friend. Please spank me! Thought of going down to Klang to celebrate with her, but I've lab matters to attend to, and I've only RM50 left in my pocket. Thus I don't think I can even afford to spend her a meal, but I'm sure I can get her a gift or maybe make her one *hee. Why do we need money for almost everything?!! *scratches head in frustration.

I'm so exhausted, and knowing that I've to get my a** back to the lab tmr, would make tmr another fun-less and tiring day. Yes, I'm overjoyed that there's no more exams to study for or even assignments to complete, but lab work has never been a 'Wah, so fun' matter either.

I'm just thankful to God that my thesis has been going on quite smoothly, few bumps here and there but no big deal la * hee

More sweets from my sweetheart :)

The bass player treated me with even more cupcakes today :) He bought them from Bisou cafe again. Two flavours that we didn't try during our last visit; Love Me Tender (Peanut butter & Chocolate) and Zest You Up (Orange). Both flavours weren't too sweet, however I fancy the peanut butter one more :)

The two cupcakes was indeed a satisfying treat, but the bass player surprised me with another mouth-watering piece of cake; Lemon Chocolate Loaf. The cake is sinfully delicious; the lemon taste is so tangible and appetizing, it went perfectly well with the sweet-bitter chocolate icing and chucks. I couldn't even finish half of the cake, it was just too filling for me :) The bass player and I are definitely returning to Bisou for more deserts :) Hence if I've been looking slightly rounder than usual, you'll know who to blame :P * hee.
